Creative Craft Challenges

It's that time again and this weeks Creative Craft Challenge is Bling it Up.

How fun is that. gems, glitter, pearls, foil you name it.

I fancied playing with my Inkylicious stamps and Ink Duster brushes and came up with this.

 

I used Distress Inks for the background and stamped the Make a Wish stamps in brown.

Cut out with Labels Eight and matted on Decorative labels Eight.

 

I added gems and cinnamon Stickles and a little spray of  Roses. I'm rather chuffed with it.

Cold and Frosty

That's the weather and the Challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stamping.

I normally leave my Crimbo cards till the last possible moment so I've decided to spare myself some stress by starting early (really early!) and a challenge is just the thing.

This is another Saturated Canary ( can't help it, I'm addicted!) Snow Blower. Coloured with Promarkers.

I added sparkly snowballs and snowy glitter and twinkly ribbon. Isn't she cute!

Creative Craft Challenges- New Beginnings

Happy New Year.

Hope you managed to get through the Holidays without one of the horrid bugs that are going about.
We weren't so lucky!

Anyway we all seem hale at the moment so fingers crossed it lasts.

This weeks challenge at Creative Craft Challenges is New Beginnings.

New Job, House, Baby, Wedding, Traveling would all fit. I went  with a New Baby card. Mostly because I need one.

This card is for the daughter of a family friend. Her Mother lost her long fight with illness on the last Sunday of the year and little Jude arrived on the Wednesday. Such a bitter sweet time.
So New Beginnings seemed apt
