I have used a Robyns Fetish image called Lily Lamb

I cut her out and flocked her to make her fluffy.

I cut  Nestie Lacey Circles and circle dies to mat it and threaded raffia thru. I'm loving this effect.

The flowers have been lurking in my stash and I've no idea where I got them from.

A little bit of white pen around the edges and it's done.

And another one.

After posting my monchrome card last night I decided to tidy my table and in the process noticed that an image I'd coloured went with the papers I'd used on Saturdays Sweet Stampin' card.

The table didn't get tidied!

Mostly I colour with a project and papers in mind but sometimes I just colour up some images with no thought to what I'll do with them, so she's been sitting on my table waiting for me to find something to do with her. I used the paper scraps and Sketch Saturday sketch again and got this.

She is a Sugar Nellie stamp called Honey Pip.

I coloured her mostly with Promarker Spring 2012 limited edition colours.

I embellished with a couple of card candy.

Twinkle Toes in Monochrome

I had time for a wee play this week and decided ink up a new stamp.

Edges inked with Distress Ink in Tea Dye

I got a pack of the polka dots in 12 different colours so I expect you'll get bored of it before long.

Obviously I used  brown and beige this time.

Purple, bingo, friend and flowers.

It's great getting the kids back to school and having time to play. 

Got several cards done tho you can't get to see them all yet.

This one was commissioned by my sister-in-law for her friends 50th 

and the brief was purple, bingo, friend, flowers and no age.

Here is what I came up with

Image is Saturated Canary- Blanche. She's a favourite of mine for the more mature lady.

Coloured with Promarkers and those folds took awhile!

I used Spellbinder Nesties- labels 8 and Decorative labels 8 for her frame. 

Fancy Tags 2 for the sentiments. One is LOTV and the other computer generated.

Memory Box Chloe stem, Tim Holtz embossing folder, Lace, pearls and flowers from stash to embellish.

She's not my normal style but she got me a big hug so job done.

A visit from the Doctor

Yesterday was the lovely Susan's birthday.

Now Mrs M likes a bit of the old Doctor Who, especially 10 and who can blame her.

(That's David Tennant for non Whovians)

So having come across this fabulous freebie from Mayzy Art I knew it was for her.

Having said that it was amazing how difficult it was to colour (need more blue Promarkers!)
and find the right papers.

I finally made my own spacey background using Perfect Pearls and Liquid Pearls.
Couldn't get a decent pic of it tho.

The sentiment "I would burn up a star to wish you Happy Birthday"was computer generated and is a play on a line the Doc says.

To finish it off I found a font called Simple Gallifreyan and printed

Happy Birthday Susan.

Creative Craft Challenges- Alter it.

Well it's time for another Creative Craft Challenge and this time we want you Alter it.

The winner will get £10 to spend at Crafty Emblies.

I have to admit that I toyed with all sorts of ideas before I settled on this one. 

I took an empty Bisto tub.

And with some papers, ribbon,an inspire charm and twine turned it into this.

I'm rather chuffed with this pen pot and now need to make the Daughter one too.
Might use the scraps for a card too.
