Funny Owls 2

I've made a large tag

Paper is from my stash

The owls are flocked, fluffed, layered and Glossy Accented then

placed on an embossed oval.

I used some of the kids funky foam letters covered with glitter.

Then edged the bottom with some pompom trim

Finally some white ribbons and a crystal brad to top it off.

My children are tag teaming me at the moment.

I just got one back to school today after a week off and the other one got sent home at lunchtime!

To top it all off I seem to be coming down with it too.

I coloured this one with Coloured pencils for a more rustic feel then 

I cut out and layered up the image for some dimension.

I had planned to do faux stitching with white gel pen but my pen had died.

That's one for the shopping list.

I used 2 papers from a Hot of the Press magazine freebie pad.

The flowers are from the same freebie with pearls added.

Christmas is coming at Sweet Stampin'

Hi Peeps

I haven't forgot about you.

We've had a poorly girl all week. 

Hate being stuck in, I only got out to get some kit for the boy going to camp.

She's now on the mend and he's away, hopefully having a ball.

Fingers crossed normal service can resume.

Get in shape with Sweet Stampin'

Erm Hello. 

Sorry I'm late. (hangs head in shame)

Was out celebrating my cousins 50th on Friday night when I realised 

I hadn't posted my pic for Sweet Stampin' or written the post. 

Bad enough but I then completely forgot about it yesterday too!

Senility maybe!

We want Shaped cards this week - no boring squares or rectangles.

So better late than never here is my shaped card

I used a cute Pollycraft image and sentiment - You're Udderly Amazing.
(I'm afraid she's shut up shop now so no link)

Coloured with Promarkers then fussy cut.
I stickled the balloon and it's dried patchy so I think I need to re-do it.

My card is cut from craft using Nesties Labels #1 so it's tiny.
(Wonder if Santa's listening!)
