The theme is Monster Birthday.

I've used Bugaboo - Monster Birthday Sign.

Coloured with Promarkers and cut out of the frame.

The papers and tentacles all come from 1 sheet of We are Memory Keepers paper 

that has been lurking in my stash for years.

A little stickles all around and it's done.

Something spooky going on at Aud

It's time for a mid challenge reminder over at Aud Sentiments.

We want Funny Halloween Sentiments.

Our sponsor this time is the fabulous Bugaboo who kindly supplied the DT some awesome images.

I got  Scene it - Halloween Peekers. So cute!

Now Halloween isn't as big in Scotland as some places 

and while the kids have fancy dress parties etc we don't send Halloween cards. 

I thought they were too cute to be made into a card that will live in a box forever 

so I chose to make a wall hanging.

I'm very pleased with it.

Image was coloured with Promarkers and then blinged up with some Stickles and Black Glaze pen on the spiders, Glossy Accents on the potion and bubbles and Stardust Pen on the spiders web. 

Plus some Stickle dots in the sky.

Matted on black card and Halloween paper

I then downloaded a couple of spooky free fonts from Dafont.

Poultrygeist and Meltdown.

I couldn't think of something funny so did a play on peek-a-boo with Eek and Boo.

I drew the spiders web with a stardust pen and then coloured and cut out the words.

The Eek is Glossy Accented and the Boo got googly eyes.

All hung together with some fab bright ribbon from my stash.

The brads are plain black but needed something else so I drew bats and spiders with the Glaze pen and cut them out to go under the brads.

Christmas starts now

Hi Guys

The sharp eyed may already have spotted my news in the sidebar badge. 

For the rest of us mere mortals I am now on the 

Christmas at Sweet Stampin' DT

This will have the advantage actually making me do some Crimbo cards before December!

The current challenge is Here Comes Santa

So get your Santa's inked and come play.

I found myself singing a Christmas song while looking at Santas so used it as inspiration .

Can you guess which one?

This cute gent in the red suit is Bugaboo's - Chubby Santa

He's coloured with Promarkers. 

His buttons and belt buckle have Glossy Accents and his hat has been flocked.

I computer generated the sentiment.

Aud Sentiments - Two Word Sentiment

Hi Peeps

It's my first post for Aud Sentiments and I nearly missed it due to the horrid illness we've had.

If the image wasn't already coloured and sentiment printed I probably would have.

As it is it's a lot simpler than originally planned but I like it.

Anyway over at Aud Sentiments it's the mid Challenge reminder. 

We want Two Word sentiments and preferably not Happy Birthday.

I've used Deacon Swing

He's coloured with Promarkers and cut out.

I computer generated the sentiment.

Hey Peeps and Hello new followers.

I started this post 3 days ago but things kept getting in the way, finally done tho. Phew!

This card is one I made for the cherubs to give their Gran on Mothers day but it didn't go because Hubs let them buy cards. However she's now in hospital with pneumonia and with the Chemo having hammered her already isn't too great (you may remember she has Myloma) so it has new life as a get well/thinking of you card as the kids can't visit.

Turning 10

This week was the 10th Birthday of my super friend Yvonne's daughter.

Do you remember how important getting into double figures was?

She got a new mobile which has caused a bit of techno envy in this house. 

My daughter has an old hand me down phone and has been promised a decent one for going to High School a year in July but now her wee pal has a good phone this isn't acceptable. 

I may bring it forward to Christmas but not sooner. Just don't tell her ;-)

Anyway onto the card.

It's a lovely fun image and fits my 2 cherubs nicely.

I couldn't get a decent pic of the Bling but trust me that crusty looking stuff is really pretty and sparkly and the little dew drop pearls are lovely.
