The cherubs stopped school today. 7 weeks of family entertainment now ensue.
Do I sound enthusiastic?
Between making teachers cards and doing my first couple of DT cards I have nothing new I can share yet. I've got to start packing for going down to Southerness tomorrow so doubt I'll get anything else done.
But don't despair I have a card I made a while ago and never got around to sharing.

I'll be posting my first one on Monday the 2nd July.
I'll be Back (bet you read that in an Arnie voice) with an other Teachers Thank You soon.
Can't believe there are only 2 1/2 days of school left, then the joy of entertaining the cherubs for the Holidays begins
Forgot to post my Tuesday Thought.....sick boy and a wee trip to see Rock of Ages with Susan and Cass is my excuse.
I'd highly recommend a trip to see it. Don't be put off by Tom Cruise as we were, he was Great and I'm not a fan usually.
Any hoo the thought......and this is very true.
My thanks to those who stuck with me thru my dark days.
Sam wasn't great over the weekend, fighting a bug then he started complaining about abdominal pain.
Ended up getting him checked and the Doc said to keep him off school for a few days.
Thanks for that!
After needing to entertain him . Frustration, Football table etc!
He decided to entertain himself and I managed to put his teachers Thank You cards together.
These are a departure from my normal MO as there is no image. Which is really hard!
The swirl is a Die-namics die, flower is a Marianne Design die, sentiment is SU, embossing folder was a magazine freebie
Card stock and tiny bit of PP are SU
Hope everyone managed to talk to their Dad today, be it in person, on Skype or just in your heart.
Fathers Day is just an excuse in our house for a lazy day. Tho not for me.
Sam was up extra early to get Daddy breakfast and it took a bit of convincing to get him to wait till his sister got up. Emma slept till 9.30, a miracle in itself.
Here are the cards that the Kids made for Pete
I did the face but Emma did the rest. She's nailed the hair.
Sam coloured a Ferrari.
He also drew a car inside but for some reason I've not been able to download it.
I'm working on teachers cards at the moment but nothing finished. I'll post them when ready
No Card today but I thought I'd share my lovely Poppy with you.
Due to adverse weather and accidents this is the first time in about 4 years that I've got to enjoy it's full beauty.
I think I'll use this as inspiration for a card (no **** comments Mrs M!)
If I can make something even a fraction as beautiful I'll be happy.
Feel free to do the same, leave me a message and I'll come look
I don't know if I've mentioned it before but I volunteer for a Group called The WIN Project on a Tuesday.
We deliver self development training to people with Mental Health issues. Confidence building, Communication skills, Assertiveness etc. All useful life skills.
I had a bout of Depression and Anxiety problems after having Sam and this group helped me get my confidence back.
In honour of this fact I've decided that I'll share a thought for the day on a Tuesday.
So the first thought for the day is rather long but something to live by.
Spent yesterday painting walls and building kitchen cabinets at my Mums.
More of the same today and shifting rubble.
Not my choice of pastime but Brownie points with Mummy never go wrong, especially when we need a babysitter ;-)
Can anyone tell me why I have a small forest worth of Paper and Card yet I can't find any paper I like or if I do find it matching card can't be found!?!
I'm leaning more towards using Kraft card as it goes with most any colour and cuts out the frustration of matching colours.
Anyway despite these problems I've had a productive day. 3 cards put together - and another one underway.
2 just needed stuck together and sentiments decided on, the 3rd I had the image coloured so not as impressive as it initially sounds.
Today you get the joy of a little lady
The image is a Sugar Nellie - Honey Pip coloured with Promarkers
Paper is Bo Bunny.
Die is Nesties Floral Oval
Sentiment is from a magazine freebie, everything else from stash.
We headed down to York to visit with my Dad and his Partner Edith.
Had a lovely time.
We went to Castle Howard where Brideshead Revisited was filmed. Beautiful House and Gardens.
The Sunday was our wedding anniversary. 12 years!
So we went for a wander in York, Dinner and a Movie while Dad had the kids for a Day.
On the Monday we all went to the village of Church Fenton for a Jubilee Fete which the kids really enjoyed. The Snowy Owl was one of the 5 that played Hedwig in the Harry Potter movies and the Tawny owl enjoyed Sam's stroking it so much it fell asleep!
There were pony rides and bouncy castles and Bar-B-Q so all good.
Back to school tomorrow so I can get some Crafting Time in.
Call back tomorrow to see if I managed owt.
