Thank Crunchie it's Monday

I know most folk look forward to the weekend but I look forward to Monday when I get the house to myself again.

Busy weekend - Sam had his Anchor Boy display on Saturday

Here he is getting the Trophy for Best Primary 2 boy.

How proud was I. Still get a tear in my eye just thinking about it.
On Sunday Emma had a riding lesson and Sam an away game at Greenock with his Rugby club, Cartha QPR. Daddy was to take photo's but managed to only get the back of his head!!

Scrapping or scraping

In March my Uncle passed away leaving his house to my Mum.
She has decided to move into it as it's got 2 bedrooms where her own place is only one bedroom. The  problem is that it needs completely redone.
So today was spent stripping wall paper and there are layer upon layer of papers on the wall. Some of it must be older than me. So next time you decorate think of the poor people years from now who will need to remove it and don't paper on paper.

Any way on to some crafty stuff - here is another commisioned card.

I actually did it....

post again.  Woo hoo!!

This card I made for Sam's friends birthday. I'm rather chuffed with it.
Sam was more chuffed with the gift I got for Aidan, an Ironman Blaster glove thing, so much so I had to get him one too!

The image is Lili of the Valley, ticket is Tim Holtz and everything else came out of my stash.

Really late.....

I know I said I'd post more and I haven't done a thing.
In celebration of restarting I've made over the Blog to this nice bright theme.

My defense is that in the process of moving the kids into their own rooms my craft stuff got buried and I really didn't make a thing for 6 months.
Then a friend asked if I could make her a couple of cards so I got the finger out, excavated the Stash and created these

This is a Ladybug Crafts Ink image coloured with Promarkers and blinged with Stickles.

 This is another Ladybug Stamp - Matini Nikki also coloured with Promarkers

All the papers are from stash.

She later told me that her daughter-in-law has framed them and last years card which I'd also made and has them in her hall. Isn't that sweet.

I'm trying to keep up the creating by doing challenges and I'll work on my photography too.

No Time

Sorry I've not posted but I really don't seem to find the time just now and when I have the time in the evenings P is on the PC gaming :-(

I really haven't managed to get anything crafty done. even dug a card out of the BOX for Sam's friends birthday.

This was the little lady. isn't she lovely. I had to touch the hair up a bit as Eve is a redhead.

I'm hoping usual service will resume by the end of the October week just in time for the SHOW!!!
Hopefully lots of new goodies will inspire me.
